The exhibition: ‘Legacies of Dutch Slavery. Nine Stories.’ explored nine unique questions and personal narratives about lineage, heritage, and history in relation to the Dutch slave trade. The contributors, hailing from various former Dutch colonies, shared their stories to inspire and encourage others to reflect on their histories and ask meaningful questions. Each of the nine stories was presented on a panel, featuring a distinct pattern that reflected its cultural or historical significance. Additionally, the photography was carefully curated to highlight the connection between the contributors' questions, their stories, and the exhibition’s visitors.
