Exhibition Design: Whose Land is it Anyway?

Engeldelic Designs collaborated with MAMA in Rotterdam to develop the visual identity for the pop-up exhibition Whose Land is it Anyway?, presented in February 2024. This exhibition explored themes of self-sufficiency, decolonization, and tourism, particularly focusing on their intersectionality concerning the ABC-SSS islands.

As the graphic designer, Engeldelic Designs created four unique symbols representing the exhibition's core themes: land loss, sustainability, linen, and pollution. These symbols served as visual anchors throughout the exhibition, guiding visitors through the narrative. Additionally, a marketing poster was designed by incorporating elements from local artists in Aruba and Curaçao, fostering a connection between the exhibition and the communities it represents. To further engage the audience, awareness stickers addressing the issue of over-tourism in Aruba were produced, encouraging reflection and dialogue.

This project exemplifies Engeldelic Designs' commitment to creating thoughtful visual storytelling that engages with cultural and historical themes.
